I did have the update installed. I did a clean boot this morning and about 8 hors ago, Window 8. I don't know why it is doing that, as I left the download and did not use the laptop for anything else, until now.

The install has now failed with the error code 0X Now searching for the code and what to do. This was all done while using the clean boot.
